CETH PATRICK FLOOD Ceth Patrick Flood Ceth Patrick (Pat) Flood, Jr., 71, of Clermont died Monday, July 19, 2010 at his home after a short battle with cancer. Born March 27, 1939 in Sebastian, Florida, he moved to Clermont in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Morris Flood; daughter, Kathy Lewis of St. Augustine; sons, Pat Flood III (Brooke) of Sebastian; Daniel Flood (Courtney) of Clermont, Bernie Flood of Clermont; grandchildren Ceth, Sophia, and Ryleigh Flood, all of Sebastian; sister Gladys Jones of Vero Beach; brothers Burl Flood (Bobbi) of Vero Beach and Robert Flood (Mary) of Darby, MT; and an aunt and uncle, Calvin and Bertie Flood of Micco, FL. As a Sebastian City Council member, Pat was all or partially responsible for the building/development of the city's Community Center, boat ramp, and North County Recreation Program. As mayor, Pat was the driving force behind building the Sebastian Municipal Golf Course and city's Riverview Park. He was a charter member of the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and Exchange Club. He was a 1957 graduate of Vero Beach High School, where he excelled as an athlete. In addition to his time in government, Pat worked as an electrician, commercial fisherman, and publisher of a real estate guide.
