Cynthia Trossbach Obituary

Cynthia Clayton Trossbach

4.5.1938 - 1.23.2021

Born in Maryland, transplanted to Florida 1975.

Cyndy passed after a short illness. She was a wife, mom, Girl Scout leader, Master Gardener and member of the Stuart Garden Club and the Church of The Advent. She loved to cook and collect recipes. She loved to boat and travel; in later years loved to cruise. She was a hard worker and generous to a fault. Cyndy liked to read and volunteer at the boys and girls club. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Bo and 2 daughters, Jessica Trossbach and Jennifer Trossbach (Liza), and many close friends. Proceeded in death by her parents, Bud and Dorothy Clayton, and 2 sisters, Ellen Wright (Butch) and Joan Clayton. PS: She was the epitome Kool-Aid Mom and made the BEST coconut cake ever! In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Stuart Garden Club or the Palm City Church of the Advent.

Dear Bo, Jessica and Jennifer,
It is with great sadness that we learned of Cyndy's passing this morning, 01/31/2021 from Jessica's phone call. We enjoyed knowing Cyndy in St. Mary's County, MD when we both taught at Esperanza Middle School. Jeanette was a Mathematics teacher, while Cyndy taught Physical Education and Elaine Davis taught Home Economics. Elaine's husband, Paul was in charge of a portion of the Naval Air Station and Jeanette's husband, Ed worked for NANEP at Webster Field. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Cyndy and are glad to have kept up with your family via Christmas letters throughout the years. One of the best things is that Cyndy gave me her mother's recipe for crab cakes! Mrs. Clayton at Clayton's Marina made the best ever crab cakes!!
May God give you His peace and comfort as you grieve her passing.
Please keep in touch with us as we still care about your family.
Much love in Christ,
Jeanette and Ed Parham [email protected] 571-383-1775
