Cindy and Family,
I want to express to you my deepest sympathy. I just learned of Dave's death last night as my wife was on Facebook, since then you have been continually in my thoughts and prayers. Dave had such a big heart for his family and the people around him; he would do anything to help them. You and he, along with Sam and Kim were the pillars that supported Centennial Football. I think about all the countless hours you guys gave to provide the young men in this area with a quality program. From pregame and postgame meals, attending practices and providing anything needed from water to temporary lighting of the practice field for play-offs, organizing banquets, making sure all details to running summer camp was provided, making countless numbers of peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches, building a graveyard for the burial of our defeated opponents, opening your home for team parties that aided in developing team cohesion, and providing for the numerous needs of under privileged young men. It takes a special person to dedicate themselves to making an impact on the life of another individual-Dave was that type of man. I thank God that you and Dave were a part of my life. May God comfort you with his peace that passes all understanding.

Sincerely and respectfully,
“Coach” Jim O'Neal
