Elbert Keith Obituary

Elbert M. Keith, 57, died May 31, 2011. He was born in Fort Pierce and was a lifelong resident of St. Lucie County. He was a certified nurse's assistant for the State of Texas and a self-employed handyman, cab driver and electrical worker. He attended the public schools of St. Lucie County and graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1973. He attended Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Curtis Keith of Fredericksburg, Va., and Anthony Keith of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Nicole Wilson of Houston; father, Lloyd Keith of Fort Pierce; sisters, Mable Keith, Donna Bynoe and Stephan McCray, all of Austin, Texas, Carolyn Phillips of Fort Pierce, and Cynthia Latimer of Royal Palm Beach; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Keith; and brothers, Lloyd Keith Jr., Rodney Keith and Anthony Keith. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. June 10 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A service will be at 11 a.m. June 11 at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce. A guestbook is available at www.stonebrothersfuneralhome.com.
