Elisabethe Phillius Obituary

Elisabethe Bebet Phillius, 54, died April 9, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute. She was born in Port de Paix, Haiti, and lived in St. Lucie County since 1986, coming from Miami. She was employed with Best Western industry for 19 years as a housekeeper. She was a member of the body of Christ. Survivors include her companion, Jean Claude Destin of Fort Pierce; sons, Gerby Phillius, Fernand Phillius and Jean Antoine Casimir, all of Fort Pierce; daughters, Magdalene Phillius and Ursula Michelle Destin, both of Fort Pierce; brothers, Yves Phillius and Yvon Phillius, both of New York, Legran Elliance of Bahamas, Lafortine Elliance of Fort Lauderdale, Joseph "Jackie" Saint Riemy and Arnold Petit, both of Haiti, and Eddie Petit of the Bahamas; sister, Solange Phillius of Broward County; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel Phillius and Aaliyah Paul; and a brother, Fedner Jean Louis. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. April 22 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A service will be at 10 a.m. April 23 at East Florida Primitive Baptist Association Temple, Fort Pierce. Entombment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
