Elizabeth Anne "Betsy" Gallant

Elizabeth Gallant Obituary

Elizabeth "Betsy" Anne Gallant, 58, died Feb. 26, 2006, at her home. She was born in Boston, Mass., and is a resident of Log anville, Ga. and was a winter resident of Vero Beach for three years. She received her licensed practical nurse diploma in 1973 from the Shepard-Gill School of Nursing of the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She received her Associate of Science in Nursing in 1987 from North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, Ga.She was a registered nurse and a staff nurse in public health in Florida and Georgia. She was a former member of Shiloh Community Church in Snellville, Ga., and is presently a member of the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville. Survivors include here husband of 29 years, George L. Gallant of Loganville; a son, Eric David Gallant of Tucker, Ga.; stepdaughter, Stacy Gallant LaMontagne of Fort Hood, Texas; and sisters, Anne Saba of Albuquerque, N.M. and Harriet A. Harding. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tenn. 38101-9929. SERVICES: A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2006 at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Loganville. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Homes, Vero Beach.
