Thelma VASSEUR Obituary
November 28, 1920 - September 7, 2013
Our mom, Thelma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, in Stony Plain. Mom is survived by her loving children Paul (Pat), Robert (Annette), Vivian (Tom) Brooks. Seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister Joan, sister-in-law Lorraine Pearce and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband George in 2001, one great granddaughter Kellie and two brothers Kenneth and Phillip.
Mom was a gentle person, always considerate and loved by all. We will miss her.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 200 Boundary Road, Spruce Grove on September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Father Sobkowicz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Our thanks to the staff at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home for their loving care.

My sincere condolences to Vivian, Bob, Paul and their families. Mrs. Vasseur was a very sweet, caring woman who always made me feel very welcome in her home. I loved having lunch at Viv' s house as her mom made the best meals - especially her pot roast! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sorrowful time.
