JANIS COX Obituary
JANIS BARNES COX Janis Barnes Cox of King George, Virginia, passed away on October 11, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Janis was born on December 3, 1944 in Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1954 with her family. Janis is survived by her daughter, Renee Cox Parker and her husband Charlie, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Janis is survived by a son, Tony Cox and many nieces and nephews. Janis is also survived by a sister, Barbara B. MacWilliam and husband Robert, of Vero Beach, FL, a brother, John S. Barnes and wife Diane of Waxhaw, NC, and a sister-in-law, Jean H. Barnes of St. Cloud, FL. Janis was preceded in death by her father, L.A. Barnes, Sr., her mother, Willie B. Barnes, and her brother L.A. Barnes, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice.
