Jean Lavoie , 74 years old, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away October 19, 2015. He was born on April 5, 1941 in Quebec, Canada to the late Thomas Lavoie and Cedulie Lavoie.

Jean was the oldest of 16 children and worked as an electrician/welder for the IBEW. When he retired he did mission work in Jamaica, Haiti and the Ukraine and was very involved in prison ministry. He was of Christian faith and a faithful member of the Midway Road Church of Christ in Fort Pierce, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Therese; his son, Norman; his daughter, Nancy; 2 grandsons, Ryan and Evan and a sister, Rosalie.

A memorial/Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, November 1st at 2 pm at the Midway Road Church of Christ, 3040 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, Florida.

Donations may be made in Jean's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.
