Lorraine A. "Mama G" Guthrie

Lorraine A. "Mama G" Guthrie, 61, died Feb. 7, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach. She was born in Schenectady, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 11 years, coming from Boynton Beach. She worked for Treasure Coast Elementary as a teacher. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Glenn Guthrie of Sebastian; sons, Daniel Guthrie, Jesse Guthrie, both of Sebastian, and Matt Guthrie of Lantana; and daughter, Marissa Guthrie of Sebastian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen Rynasko; brother, Michael Rynasko; and sister, Diane Rynasko Sanders. Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 12 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the church.
