Robert Bushman Obituary
Palm City, FL
Robert Frank "Bob" Bushman, Sr., 85, of Palm City, FL passed away on February 28, 2018 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1960. Bob also served from 1975 to 1994 as a Firefighter and also served as Fire Chief of the Palm City Fire Dept and also as a Fire Inspector for Martin County. Bob was also an avid sports enthusiast. He played basketball in the Air Force, as well as coaching organized youth baseball. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Wanda Faye Bushman; children Robert F. Bushman, Jr. (Bobby & Dena) of Palm City and Christopher G. Bushman (Chris & Kay) of Marathon, FL; grandchildren Robert F. Bushman, III (Robbie), Rebecca McArdle (Becky), Jeffery Bushman (Jeff), Ashley Hildebrandt, and April Ganieany; and great-grandchildren Liam McArdle, Connor McArdle, Everett Hildebrandt, and Kambrie Bushman. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2nd from 6-8pm at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, where a Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City. Contributions as a memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
