It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sue Kaiser on Sunday March 20th at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach Florida.

Survivors include her husband Rick Kaiser; daughter Emily Kaiser; son Eric Kaiser ; Mother Sally Henderson (Mema) all of Vero Beach and a brother Trey Howse of Dallas, TX.

The entire family was able to say goodbye before her passing. Sue was a great mother, wife, daughter and friend. Our hearts are broken. Sue was the wife of a Navy SEAL for over 27 years. I couldn't have asked for anything more. She was strong, independent, dependable and a fierce advocate for her family, her friends, her country and me. She was in the Navy even though she never enlisted. She endured many long hard deployments not knowing if I would return. She took care of the kids and the home without question. She could party with the hardest SEAL and come out on top every time. She always gave more than what she got in return. Sue was the driving force behind many initiatives at the National Navy SEAL Museum located in FT. Pierce, Florida. She single handedly took the Trident House (respite home for special forces families) from an idea to reality.Since her greatest love was children, she constantly pushed for things such as the Obstacle Course and Dress Up area which are now also reality thanks to Sue Kaiser. She will be missed.

There will be a celebration of life sometime in the future with plenty of advanced notice. Please donate to the Trident House (her pride and joy) in place of flowers.Trident House 3300 N. HWY A1A Ft. Pierce, FL 34949.

Dear Rick, Susan has the best deal, watching over you as you take your steps each day. You know they are doing this, because at some time in the day you have this premonition and you may look up or outward , find your self staring like when we were kids and you say thanks for watching over me today. I hope your day of remembering is full or joyful memories.

Rick, i hope you have found this same peace that i have each day when you look at a favorite picture of Susan, as I do of my wife Vesta, you remember a bit more about that day and other days you shared together. It brings you added peace that day, an extra spark in your steps and you say to Susan, thanks for being there for us and thanks for looking out for me today.

I sometimes, such as today, search the internet for friends with who I lost touch. I was so very saddened to find that Sue had passed. She was a remarkable woman and a wonderful wife and mother. May she Rest In Peace and may her loved ones find comfort in memories of her.

I just found out about your loss, I worked with Susan at Crestwood Elementary School in Chesapeake, many years ago. Then met her again as we became neighbors at the OBX. Susan was an unforgettable person, with a heart for children. Prayers for the family.

Dear Rick, Emily,and Eric,
I was so sad to hear about the loss of Susan. Although I had not seen her in many years, I have wonderful memories of our early teaching years together and how we both became new mothers at the same time. She had a kind, generous heart and I will never forget that she took care of my sick child so that I could take my NTE exams while my husband was deployed. Love and Blessings to you all.
