I will miss Tom & Marilyn. They haven't been at Montgomery Evangelical Free Church, especially when he preached inspirational sermons. I would love to read one on his books. He was so kind, caring, loving towards me; encouraging me with my battle with MS and playing oboe in church. We all will see him again. With love, Tonyia, Bernard and our sons, Marcus and David

I just found out that Tom died. He was my co-worker and friend for many years. Thank you, Tom, for your friendship. My husband, Bob, and I send our sincere condolences to Marilyn and the rest of the Pine family.

Tom will be missed by us all! He was such a genuine, kind, and happy soul. We made friends quickly with Marilyn in NJ on the beach and maintained our friendship through the years even after we all moved away. He had intelligence, wit, charm and a caring heart that made him a great friend.
I will always be thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him and to call him a friend. I will cherish his memory for years to come.

I believe that when a person dies, a part of their spirit lives on in those he or she has touched during their stay here on Earth.
Each act that we do, no matter how small, leaves its mark. The love we give, the joy we shared, and the hand we lent our fellow man.
The ones we loved, the children we raised, and the friends we made are part of what we leave behind.
Tom, your spirit lives on in the friendship we shared that now feels like such a short time. You are in a better place, and my heart goes out to your family.

You were a shining light to all those whose lives you touched and the world will be a sadder place with your loss. I will always treasure the great times and experiences we shared and you will always remain in my heart.

It is to Tom's credit, as well as Marilyn's, that they made an impact on my life in the space of only a few months. My prayers are with the family.
