LONGVIEW - Benny P. Terrell, beloved father, uncle, grandfather and Veteran, passed away on July 7, 2024, in Longview, WA.
He is survived by his son, Mark Terrell; and his two grandchildren: Emerlynne and Ezekiel Terrell.Benny retired from a distinguished career at Longview Fiber.
Throughout his life, Benny found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed clam digging along the Washington coast with family and friends. His artistic spirit shone through his passion for wood carving and carpentry that reflected his love for craftsmanship and creativity.
Benny Terrell will be remembered for his gentle nature, his unwavering commitment to his family, and his dedication to his community. His warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held on July 19, 2024, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Columbia Funeral Services.

I have very fond memories of Kathy and Benny. Both loved their family dearly and were such giving people. As a colleague, I saw Kathy give tirelessly to her students and Benny was always by her side.
