Dennis James Kenna

March 29, 1950 - March 7, 2025

Dennis James Kenna, lovingly known by some as "Doc," passed away on March 7, 2025, in Rainier, Oregon. Born on March 29, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dennis dedicated his life to improving the juvenile justice system in Oregon.

Throughout his career, Dennis played a pivotal role in shaping juvenile services across multiple counties. Dennis also acted as a liaison to the juvenile departments in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, and Washington counties. In 2012, Dennis officially retired from his role as Head of the Juvenile Department in Washington County.

Dennis found immense joy on the water. A passionate fisherman and boater, he embraced every opportunity to cast a line whether alone or alongside friends. His enthusiasm for fishing was infectious, when in doubt, "Fish On!"
