Lois "Coni" Bush

Our loving mother, Coni Bush was born in Camden, New Jersey on May 14th, 1942. She was the youngest child, born to Ralph and Amelie Sweigart. Coni passed peacefully at her home in Kelso, Washington, on July 23rd, 2025. She volunteered faithfully at the Castle Rock Senior Center, until the week prior to her passing. She was a successful business owner for many years in Castle Rock, dating back to 1978, with the most recent being Lacey Rha's Cafe on Cowlitz Street. She was always involved in her community and did many things for the town of Castle Rock. Our mom had a love of gardening, the arts and doing crafts with her own hands. She very much enjoyed being part of a card swap community, which allowed her to spend time making cards, for all occasions. Coni was preceded by her parents and her sister Sandy Bair. Her life partner of 50 years, Kenny Auvigne and her son Guy Bush, both preceding her in death, were at heaven's gates to welcome her home. Coni will be greatly missed by her surviving family, daughters Gayle Berry and Lacey Auvigne, her granddaughters (Lacey's children) Rha'Ann, Jaelynn and Piper Bebout, her brother Lew Sweigart, her nieces, nephews, their children and our extended family. Her feline roommate and companion Kit Kit will miss her tremendously. Our mom will be laid to rest at Hubbard Whittle Cemetery in Castle Rock, next to her life partner and son, during a private internment with surviving family. A celebration of life will happen on September 13, 2025, at Lions Pride Park in Castle Rock, WA from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of any flowers, please make donations to Eden Hospice Healthcare, or make a special meal for family or someone in need.
