Patricia "Pat" Davey was born Patricia Louise Kenaston on January 29th,1932 in Kelso, WA to Hazel and George Kenaston. She graduated from Kelso High School, where she met Richard "Rich" Davey, and they became high school sweethearts in 10th Grade after Pat asked Rich to Tolo (Sadie Hawkins). Pat was a good student and loved playing the piano. While dating, Pat's mother insisted Rich wait to see her until she had finished piano practice. They graduated from Kelso High in 1950 and married in 1951. After the birth of their first child, Rich was hired as a lumber mill saw-filer, and the family moved to Carlton, OR. In their ten years there, their family grew to number five kids. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and socializing with her friends. When Rich took a new job at Standard Dairy, they moved back to Longview, WA, and Pat kept things going at home, and joined the Yankettes at the First United Methodist church, where she helped others in the community. In the 70's Pat and Rich bought and ran the Hemlock and Hillcrest Stores in Longview, where they supported the people of the area. They retired in the late 1990s. Pat had many friends that she kept in touch with over the years, and she even had a group of school chums that kept a standing lunch date once a month until recently. Pat loved to travel. She and Rich took many international trips and road tripped in their motorhome all over the United States over the years. If you said go, Pat was in the car. She passed away December 19th at age 92, in her home, with her loving husband by her side.

Pat is survived by her husband Richard and brother Jerry Kenaston, daughters Mary Lynn Thompson and Laurie Nunes, her sons Richard Davey Jr. and Mark Davey. She was preceded in death by her daughter Virgina LaVoie, and granddaughter Tatum Didier. She leaves 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
