Patricia Davis Obituary
December 27, 1945 - June 20, 2025
Patty Davis, Age 79, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in 1945 in Astoria, Oregon, Patty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Nathan Davis. For nearly 25 years, she shared her life and love with her devoted partner, Tom Griggs, who stood by her side with unwavering care and support.
Patty is survived by her daughter, Nanette Searing; her son, Harry Maxwell; stepdaughters Dana Davis-Minium and Dona Davis; and stepson Dave Davis. She took great pride and joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, always cherishing time spent doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As a mother she was generous, loving and kind and her family was her greatest joy. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, dancing, and had a huge love for all animals.
A celebration of her life just as she wished, with laughter and love will be held at her home in Kalama, Washington, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to come share memories, stories, and joy in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patty's memory may be made to the Washington Adoption Rights Movement (WARM) at www.warmsearch.org, a cause close to her heart.
