My earliest memory of my Uncle Robert was of him chasing me around the house when I was a toddler. My Grandma would get so annoyed when bob would cause such a ruckus in the house, but my cousins and I loved it. Uncle bob continued to terrorize up each new generation of kids with his antics. In fact, he was the life of the party if you didn't mind being in a headlock. I remember he had a loud voice that could be heard across a crowded room or a major league stadium.
Irving Berlin said, "The song is ended, but the melody lingers on." This quote reminds me of Uncle Bob . Even though he is no longer with us, we were all graced with his presence in our lives. He will live on through our stories and memories
I end with a bad uncle joke-
I'll never forget my Uncle's last words to me just before he died. "Are you still holding the ladder?"
I'll miss you uncle bob
