Sister Adele taught me how to read English back in the early 1970s at La Salle. She was a saint. She lived a holy and humble life by example. May God bless her kind and gentle soul and may He keep her close as she was a blessed woman.

Sr. Adele will live in my heart forever. I met her when I was a kid around 1980. She taught me how to play Spades, and proceeded to beat me every time!
My wife and I were fortunate to have visited and eaten lunch with her in June of 2017. I kept in touch with her for all these years and enjoyed receiving her many Christmas cards over the years.

She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to spend time with her.

Sister Adele was an integral part of the LaSalle family in Albany for decades. She was the keeper of our history, the caretaker of our attendance records, a mentor and teacher to staff and students. She worked in our residential program and in our educational program. Hundreds of youngsters benefited from her care and guidance. She understood the harm and hardship they had endured and gave them hope. She was a dear friend and colleague to me, always supportive and encouraging. My cousins in Pittsfield remember her from the Catholic school they attended as children. I cannot begin to calculate the good She has accomplished through her humble and loving vocation of service. She showered all of us at LaSalle School with prayers these years since she retired. Her impact on us all will be sustained for a long time. God bless Sister Adele. We lost a very special Angel amongst us with her passing.
