Agnes Herosian Obituary
Worcester - Agnes M. (Postoian) Herosian, 97, formerly of North Falmouth, MA died on July 19, 2021 under hospice care in Cary, NC. Her husband of 50 years, George A. Herosian died in 1996.
She leaves behind 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Linda Herosian, of Cary NC and Brian and Sheila Herosian of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; 5 grandchildren- Ross Herosian of Austin, Tx, Lauren Herosian of Acworth, GA, Amy, Addison and Bennett Herosian, all of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as an extended family of nieces and nephews.
Agnes was born in 1924 in Watervliet, NY, the daughter of Michael and Mary Postoian. She had 1 brother and 5 sisters. The family relocated to Worcester, MA early in her childhood days and she married George A. Herosian in 1946 . They retired to North Falmouth, MA in 1986 and she moved to North Carolina in 2014 to be with family.
Agnes was an active member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour in Worcester, MA for many years and held many political and social positions. She was a long-time administrative manager for St. Pierre Manufacturing until her retirement. She loved to play Bridge and was a Master player, participated in many tournaments and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Agnes's ashes will be interred with her husband at the Otis Air Force Base National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.

my condolences to the herosian family. brian was was a friend of mine in homeroom at south high. remembering how he and alan were standouts in high school sports. may agnes rest in peace.

Sorry for your loss. I grew up on Austin St. and George used to drive my grandfather to work. I remember "Hero tonic". My Mom Agnes was in the Women's Guild at church with your Mom, and your parents were pillars of our Church in Worcester. Everytime I pass the Austin houses, I think of simpler times. ARCHIE
