Allyson Smith Obituary
Orange - Allyson M. Smith of Orange passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday Nov. 3, 2016. Allyson was born on May 11, 1963 in Ware MA, and spent her younger years living in Hardwick, where she went to Quabbin Valley Regional School. She spent her adult years living in Orange MA, where she raised and was a loving mother to her two children. Allyson always knew how to light up a room with her extremely outgoing personality and sense of humor. Her presence was always known if she was in the area. Her selfless attitude saw her giving to others even if she had little for herself. Allyson is survived by her two children Justin Elliott and Sydney Goguen, her companion of 23 years Lenny Goguen; her mother Carol Smith; her father and stepmother Robert Smith Sr. and Yvette Smith; her siblings Bobby Smith and wife Sally, Karen Valley, and Cheryl Moscato and husband Dan; as well as many nephews and nieces. She predeceased by a brother Michael Smith in 1958. All services are private, per request of her family. Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Carol,Bobby,Karen,Cheryl, I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Allyson's passing. We had so many fun times together working at Mill Hill Nursing home. How everyone loved her , and to all the Metcalf's she was a sister for life. Soar with the Angels Allyson.

'Dyn-o-mite' - that was my dad's pet name for the spunkiest, funniest gal in the world. He used to come home with stories of Allyson's antics on the schoolbus and it is just one of the ways we all fell in love with her. I am so sad to hear of her bright light passing. We are all so lucky to have been part of her life. To all of the Smiths - my thoughts and prayers are with you. You were such a special part of my life growing up in Hardwick.
