Amanda Stokowski Obituary
Amanda was born Sept. 4, 1989 in Worcester the daughter of Brian R. Stokowski of Millbury and Robyn A (Nason) Stokowski and her life partner Joseph E. Paquette, both of N. Oxford. She had been a resident of Northbridge before moving to North Oxford in 2002. Amanda was a graduate of Oxford High School, Class of 2008 and was presently attending Salter College in Worcester working toward a Medical Associates Degree.
Ms. Stokowski enjoyed being with friends, shopping for her favorite color "pink" and participating in Track and Field Events. Her family called her their special social butterfly and she was loved by all. In her childhood, Amanda was nicknamed "Punky Brewster".
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Aaron J. Stokowski and Andrew J. Paquette both of N. Oxford; two sisters, Danielle E. Stokowski and her fiancee Matthew C. Morris and their son, Hunter A. Morris all of Wales and Ashley M. Paquette and her fiancée Sean Paronto and their daughter Kiley Paronto all of Charlton. She is also survived by her paternal great grandparents, Helen Stokowski of Webster and Frances Bachant of Uxbridge; her paternal grandparents, Ronald R. Stokowski of Dorchester, NH and Jack and Elaine Trask of Worcester and her maternal great grandparents, Nancy Snow of ME and Ethel Barnhill of TX and her maternal grandmother, Carolyn Swan of FL. In addition, she is also survived by uncles, aunts, great uncles and great aunts and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tues., March 8, 2011 at 10 AM in the North Baptist Church, 5 East Hartford Ave., North Uxbridge, 01538.
Visiting hours will be held Mon., March 7, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville, 01588.
Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Amanda's memory may be made to the North Uxbridge Baptist Church, P.O. Box 365, No. Uxbridge, MA 01538 or to the Living Hope Ministries, P.O. Box 53, 760 Providence Rd., Northbridge, MA 01534.

Amanda I love you so much! I still cannot believe that you are gone. I think about you every day. We had so many great memories that will not be forgotten ever. Cody still asks about you. I've been telling him that you are on vacation. I personally wish you were only on vacation and were coming back within the next week or so. I just want this nightmare to be over. But I am just happy that you are no longer in pain. I felt so bad for you knowing that you were in pain and I couldn't do anything to help. I am still struggling to believe this news. Amanda possessed one of the most beautiful souls I have ever encountered, and all who were lucky enough to meet her were better for having done so. Her laugh was so infectious, and her smile so inviting - she truly embodied the word "shine" while she was here with us. Time has passed, and many of us have lost touch over the years. However, Amanda will always remain a radiant, beautiful, loving young lady in mind and in my heart. May you rest in peace amanda. I am sure that your laugh is filling the heavens even as I type this. My thoughts, condolences and prayers to the Stakowski family. Robyn, Danielle, and AJ - I am so sorry for your loss and wish there was something I could do to take the pain away.
