He is survived by his children Margaret M. Pappas and her partner Steven R. Cox, Thomas F. and his wife Christine (Carlson), all of Worcester, John T. of Holden and Mary E. and her husband Dr. Peter J. He was predeceased by two children, James J. and Annmarie, two brothers Louis and John, a sister Demitra Sienuc and his daughter-in-law, John's wife, Denise (Simoncini). He had been the last surviving member of his generation on both his and his wife's sides of the family.

"Angie" graduated from Worcester Boys' Trade High School in 1947 as a Draftsman. He played football all four years, being selected All-City three years in a row. He started his career as a Draftsman for Presmet Corporation of Worcester, where he worked for many years. He also worked part time at O'Coin's Furniture, Appliance and Jewelry Store in the Camera Department. He returned to college attending Worcester Junior College and received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from Fitchburg State College. He went on to teach at Worcester Boys' Trade High School in the Drafting department later becoming Assistant Director for 18 years and Director for one year. My Sincere Sympathy to the Pappas Family
on "Angie's" passing. It was certainly an honor to have known him, and worked with him, for many years.
I had replaced Mr. Pappas as a Drawing Instructor when he moved up to become the Assistant Director.
He was very helpful to me as I started my new career, and helpful to me throughout my career; as he was to many others at WBTHS ( now WTHS ).
He always had the time, and would offer advice.
He would listen; not only to the staff, but also to the students, about their concerns, and would try to strike a fair balance--which was not an easy thing to do.
However, everyone would accept it because of the respect we had for him.
WBTHS was his second love, after his family.
He was an Honorable Man. He was a Good Man.
I know his Great-Great Granddaughter will keep his memory alive. R.I.P. Mr. Pappas

I wish I had know more about him when I attended his school. After reading his obituary it is quite clear he deserved more respect than we gave him. We did fear him! He was a big guy that never took our crap. There was no person more feared than he. That kept us in line for sure. It should also be said he was very fair. You only had to fear him if you were doing something wrong. The world needs more people like Mr. P. Tough and fair.
