Annie Wilson

Annie (Wilson) Wilson, 91, of Hartford Ave., died Sat. evening, November 8, 2008, in the Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Arthur S. Wilson, who died in 1996.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Fall River, June 15, 1917, the daughter of the late George and Olive (Wood) Wilson. She was a graduate of Hopedale High School, Class of 1935 and served as secretary of her class.

Mrs. Wilson was a long time resident of Hopedale and was very active within the community. She served as Census Taker for the town for many years. She had previously been employed at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale. For many years, Mrs. Wilson went to the Union Evangelical Church in Hopedale and was active in the Ladies Aid of the church.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by one daughter, Janice L. Fielder of Hopedale; one granddaughter, Cheryl L. Kennelly of Hopedale and 2 grandchildren, Michael Heron of Milford and Christina Kennelly of Hopedale.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Nov. 12, 2008 at 2 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, MA 01757. Burial will follow in the Hopedale Village Cemetery, Mendon St., Hopedale.

Visiting hours will be Wed., Nov. 12, 2008 from 1-2 PM prior to the funeral service in the funeral home.
