Basilio Flores Obituary
Lakeland, FL - Basilio Flores, 92, of Lakeland, FL passed away peacefully on August 4, 2014.
He was born June 8, 1922 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Manuel Flores and Maria Leonor. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Herminia Flores who passed away in 2002. He was also predeceased by four sisters, three brothers and two sons, Miguel Angel and Alberto Flores.
Basilio leaves behind six children, Margaret Corredor of Lakeland, FL, Angel Luis of Leicester, Julio of Webster, and Maria Rosado, Noemi Roques, Luz Esther all of Bartow, FL. He also leaves behind 29 beloved grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Basilio moved to Lakeland, FL with his daughter Margaret in 2005 where he spent some of the happiest years of his life.
All are invited to calling hours for Basilio on Sunday, August 10th from 4-7PM in Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St., Worcester. The funeral will be held on Monday, August 11th from the Funeral Home with a Mass at 11AM in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 929 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
