Carolann R. Dudas, 21

Worcester - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a wonderful young woman Carolann R Dudas, 21 years of age, on April 11, 2021 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She joins in heaven, her grandparents Louis Sr. and Carol Dudas, her father Dwaine Thames Sr., and brother Ryan Thames who predeceased her

Carolann was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Christine M. Dudas and the late Dwaine Thames Sr. At the age of eight, Carolann and her family moved to Worcester where she has lived ever since.

With a zest for life and love of family, Carolann was just getting her life started. She was a member of the Next Level Church, loved going to Hampton Beach and walking the boardwalk, going to Six-Flags, out to eat and shopping. She was a hard worker at Heywood Hospital, had a huge heart, loved to help people, loved music, taking pictures, and had an exceptional sense of humor; a "Goofball" always joking. She left this world doing what she loved, driving around in her new car. The world is a better place because she was in it.

Carolann is survived by her devoted mother and best friend, Christine M. Hutchinson, two brothers, Justin M. Dudas of Worcester, and Dwaine Thames Jr., of Columbus Ohio; her sister-in-law Alliah Speight, two nephews who loved being around their auntie, Justin "Baby Jay" and Quentin, and her best friend Alba along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, April 16th, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral service will be held SUNDAY, April 18th at 1 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private. The family requests that flowers be omitted.

CarolAnn will be missed and remembered everyday. She was loved dearly by her family and many friends. But this I would like to say. CarolAnn had the spunk of her Grandma Dudas but also she had the love and kindness and compassion that became instilled with her from her aunt's Tammy Seaquist and Carol Prayer and her beloved Mother Christine. I didn't watch her grow to become a beautiful young woman but I did watch her as a little girl. She was always smiling and full of joy. She drove her older brother nuts. She also had her Grandpa Dudas wrapped around her little finger. Whatever she asked Grandpa Dudas gave. She was my little niece. Even though she is in heaven with Grandpa and Grandma she will always be living in our hearts everyday. With love Uncle Tim

There is no pain more far-reaching, and deeper than losing a child. Our hearts and prayers go out to you, and your family at this most difficult time. The journey to healing is long, the road often bumpy, but I promise you, there will be brightness in your days again. Allow yourself to feel what you feel, and take one day, one step at a time. In deepest empathy,
A Mom

Carolann was always happy anytime I talked with her. As a young adult, she had big dreams and goals. She just recently told me how happy she was to have recently purchased her first car. I told her how very proud of her I was. She was very excited. Carolann is alot like her mom, she could be silly and goofy. She had a hampster named "bear" and her mom told me that she loved to exercise this hampster everyday. I think this just comes natural for the "Dudas" family, to havea love for pets. Carolann has earned her angel wings, she will be missed so very much. Fly high Carolann and rest in heaven. Love you Aunt "mooshy" and Uncle John
