CEDAR CITY, UT - Our wonderful mother, Carrie O. Pearson, 96, passed away on November 18, 2017, in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on September 19, 1921, in Millbury, Massachusetts, to Walter and Exilda Webber Mitchell, sister to 7 brothers and sisters.

On November 23, 1946 Carrie was married to Gordon B. Pearson, in Millbury, MA. They later moved to Worcester, Massachusetts, where they raised their 3 children, Elaine, Gordon, and Nancy.

Both Carrie and her husband were baptized on March 30, 1985 as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Worcester, MA, and on November 6, 1987 they were sealed in the Washington Temple. Carrie served as secretary to the Relief Society Presidency, and also in Nursery in the Worcester Ward. She was all about her family, and loved them dearly. As well as her 3 children, she was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Carrie is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon B. Pearson, and her daughter, Elaine Ruth Tucker of Worcester, MA. She is survived by her son, Gordon P. Pearson, of Worcester, MA; her daughter, Nancy (Charles) Boynton, of Cedar City, UT; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
