Cedric B. "Ted" Burnham

Cedric B. "Ted" Burnham, 78, of Brimfield Rd. passed away on August 5, 2010 at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. He was born October 25, 1931 in Monson, son of Walter and Florence (Brenan) Burnham. Ted was raised in Brimfield and has lived in Warren for 57 years. He served his country in the US Army in Korea during the Korean War. Ted retired in 1993, from Construction Services in Wilbraham, where he worked as a mechanic for 40 years.

Ted had a passion for restoring antique cars and had a collection of his own. He enjoyed the outdoors, caring for his land, hunting and puzzles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean (Houghton) Burnham. He will be missed by four children, Debra Crossman and husband Kenneth of Palmer, Kevin Burnham and wife Jane of Monson, Gary Burnham and wife Tamara of Wilbraham, Gail Burnham and Graham Marriott of Monson. He also leaves two sisters, Patricia Jusko and Linda Schoonover both of Palmer; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, Curtis, Walter, Donald, Stephen and a sister, Rose.

Services will be held at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, August 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Warren, MA.  Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
