Cheryl Menanson Obituary
Shrewsbury - Cheryl J. (Belanger) Menanson, 66, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. Cheryl leaves her husband of 43 years, William F. Menanson; her son Kirk F. Menanson of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Jay G. Belanger of Portland, OR and Daniel A. and his wife Debra of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Gladys Magee and her husband Donald of Randolph and Coleen B. Brewster of Ware and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joel K. Belanger and her sister, Denise P. McShane.
Cheryl was born in Methuen the daughter of John G. and Gladys F. (Nutton) Belanger. She graduated from Holy Name High School and Assumption College. Cheryl worked as a surgical technician at University of Massachusetts/Memorial Healthcare for 34 years. She previously worked at Worcester City Hospital. Cheryl enjoyed taking trips with her husband Bill to the casinos.
Visiting hours for Cheryl will be on Wednesday, December 5th from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., W. Boylston. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
