Christopher DiBello Obituary
Bolton/Southborough - Christopher J. DiBello, 49, passed away on October 25, 2016, due to complications from a stroke. He leaves his devoted wife of 20 years, Patricia A. (Tobin) DiBello; his adoring children, Marcus DiBello (12) and Lilliana "Lilly" DiBello (15) both of Bolton; his parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Yannario) DiBello of Grafton; his brother, Martin DiBello of Grafton; his two sisters, Jackie DiBello of Aspen, CO and Marcia DiBello of Southborough; his extended family in Atlanta, GA and New England. He was known as Uncle Chris by many nieces and nephews. Born in Framingham, Chris lived his childhood in Southborough. He graduated from Algonquin Regional H.S. class of 1986. Chris proudly wore #32 on his football jersey as a stand out Tomahawks football player. He graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY in 1990, and earned his B.S. in Business Administration. Chris spent his career in the Equipment Leasing field, most recently employed as V.P. of Business Development for NFS Leasing in Beverly. Previous places of employment included Dell Financial Services, Sun Microsystems, The CIT Group and GE Capital. Chris carried his passion for sports and spirit of kindness throughout his life. He enjoyed coaching youth hockey and sharing his love of competition. He also played in a men's hockey league, worked at his golf game and enjoyed many boys vacations on Hilton Head Island, SC. Chris ran in the Boston Marathon in 2001 and was a Reach the Beach Relay participant. He had an amazing friendship line that carried from childhood mischief to 20 plus years of Patriots games with his dearest friends. While Chris' life was short he lived it fully. He will be remembered as simply 'a truly amazing person' who connected with every person he encountered.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 12 – 4 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. His funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St. Northborough. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chris DiBello #32 Fund, c/o DCU, 220 Donald Lynch Blvd. Marlborough, MA 01752. My deepest condolences to Patty and the entire Dibello family. Chris was a fraternity brother, Wagner College team mate and just a friend that I really loved. Chris and I would connect on and off when he traveled to NYC or me up to Boston. Although all too infrequent, the connections were very meaningful and it's like time stood still. I will truly miss his wonderful spirit and sense of humor. May you take comfort in all of the memories and lives that he has touched.

Played hockey with Chris the last few years @ NESC in Marlboroguh. Great guy on and off the ice. Real competitor truly enjoyed the game and the guys.
