Colleen Sherman Obituary
HOLDEN/BARRE - Colleen M. (Jannette) Sherman, 66, of Holden died unexpectedly January 24,2015. She leaves her mother Marion Jannette of Barre; a brother Joseph Jannette & wife Anne of North Brookfield; Aunts Stella and Clarice Jannette; 3 nieces and 7 great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father John Jannette and several aunts & uncles.
Colleen grew up in Barre, graduated from Maria Assumpta Academy and Boston University. She had a long career with the United States Department of Defense as Director of Human Resources at a number of large military complexes both here and abroad. Upon retirement she found great joy as an ordained Minister, most recently working with people around the world through the International Apostolic Ministries. She was a cherished leader and a friend to many.
The funeral for Colleen will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 1:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 South Barre Road, Barre. Calling hours will be from 11:30-1:00 prior to the service.
