I just found out today. My thoughts and prayers to all of Dan's family and friends. I am honered to say that I knew Dan and worked with him for three summers at Treasure Valley. I last saw Dan on Thanksgiving day at the Tedeschi's in Natick before the football game. We were both surprised to see eachother there. He will be missed.

Mickey, I only just learned of your terrible loss through Debbie Bailey. I remember how proud you were of him when we were at Morgan and how bright his future looked. It's hard to even imagine losing such a great son, let alone know what to say at such a time. You and Janet have my deepest sympathy. I hope you will call on me if I can help.

Please accept our prayers and sympathy over the loss of your son. He was the altar boy at my wedding, I remember watching him grow up to be such a fine young man, making you all so proud of him. He is with the Lord, and being embraced by his grandparents.

To say I am shocked would be a major understatement. It feels so surreal. It is difficult to fathom, and, I can only begin to know the pain you must be feeling. I think I will always remember Dan as "the youngest Eagle Scout". I remember being his provisional troop Asst. Scoutmaster in the mid '80s at Treasure Valley, and, learning his age and how close he was to becoming an "Eagle". I was quite astonished and impressed by his dedication, effort, and drive at being the "best". I also remember having "religious" discussions with him at camp, and, learning about his faith in God. And, I am so thankful to have been there when he received his Eagle rank, and, when he graduated from St.John's High School. I also remember him going off to college, and, by the kind remarks of his many friends, I see he succeeded so well in so many ways in life. Truly, he was blessed. Truly, he will be missed. Truly, he has now ascended to the highest of peaks that an Eagle could ascend to. May God bless him, and, may God bless and comfort all of you in this very difficult time. All of you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan The Man- from sitting in his office as an athlete gettin stim on my back, to getting tons of advice on becoming a atc myself, to working together and having the best mentor a new grad could ask for. Words are so difficult at times such as these. Dan was such a cute kid, and so kind to others growing up...and the occasional times when I taught him, I remember that smile! I'm so sorry for the loss of your child, brother, and future spouse. Try to find peace in the wonderful tributes left by so many knowing that others share your sorrow and care so much.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dan in Boy Scouts many years ago in East Brookfield. He was part of a very big reason why I became an Eagle Scout. He was someone to look up to as a young boy. As a parent of the Natick High Football team we are all saddened by the loss. I know all the kids loved and respected Dan.

Dan Dan the Trainer Man...That's what I would sing when I would
meet up for various talks on the condition of Whitney's legs (which
were always on a wait-see). He kept her on the track and on the
soccer field for 4 years and when she went away to college she would keep in touch and report on how the trainers there were just not
"Trainer Dan". He always got a chuckle out of that. Dan was one of a kind. He exemplified the title trainer with the knowledge his education gave him but more so the knowledge of the athlete he was working with at any given time. His impact on Natick High was HUGE.
Dan will always be a part of our history.
