Debra Shea Obituary
She leaves a daughter, Kristy H. Shea and a son, James J. Finnegan, both of Rutland; and a brother, Scott W. Shea and his fiancé Sharon Newkirk, both of Webster.
She was born in Worcester and raised in Dudley. She then lived in Webster before moving here in 1995. She graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley in 1987.
Debra was the bar manager at the Ding Ho Restaurant in Worcester before retiring in 2007 because of her illness. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church in Webster.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM during the calling hours with the Rev. Stanley Kaszubski officiating.

Today is October 3rd. 2011. it is 11:52 pm. It has been 30 days today since we said good by for now my friend. We love you, We miss you.
I am still here for Kristy, Jimmy, Scott and Sharon. We speak daily of the words you left behind. What we realized in a nut shell, you said do not take life for granted. Stop and smell the roses, watch the blue crabs crawl across the sand. One of you favorite phrases you framed says:
Life isn't like a bowl of cherries... It's more like a jar of jalapenos, What you do today might burn your a@@ tomorrow!

Our true friendship was based on unconditional friendship. We were always there to support each other no matter the circumstances. I understand that friends may come and go but there are those precious few you hold onto.
We had so many laughs and so many stories to tell. We never remembered the days but we always remembered the memories from our youth to our adult lives. So for all the times I never said the things I should have I thank you for all the times you understood.
I will miss your person but will carry you spirit with me always.

Deb i miss you as much as you know I would. Although I am in terrible pain it quickly subsides when I know your not. Deb no words can describe how I feel or how I miss you.At least your with Gram now at eternal rest. No more pain and suffering. Now your in the Grace of God watching over me. I was deeply saddened upon hearing the news of Deb's untimley passing. My deepest sympathies go out to her family, especially her 2 children who were the light of her life. She will be sorely missed. Deb was a real true friend to all who were close to her. You are now an angel who will watch over us all.

You were my mom's best friend & I loved seeing the two of you in action. Partners in crime, the laughs never stopped. You were there for her when she lost Bob & I thank you for that. You were a true friend. Not only did you & Bob share a birthday but you also shared a bond with my mom that nobody else has had & I've said right along that Bob would be on the other side waiting to greet you with open arms & you'll pick the 3-3's back up right where you left off. I'll miss your sense of humor & I'll miss you & my mom dancing around to "Shoop" :) You were an amazing person & you'll always be missed & loved.
