Debra Simulevich Obituary

Debra M. Simulevich, 60

Worcester - Debra M. Simulevich, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at St. Francis Home in Worcester after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Deb was born on April 25, 1960 in Worcester, daughter of the late Alphonse and Dolores (Scola) Simulevich.

As a child, Deb attended St Casimir Catholic School before moving to Shrewsbury with her family in 1971. Deb graduated from St Peter Marion Catholic High School in 1978. Upon graduation she worked as a private duty compassionate caregiver.

Deb's love was her family, including her cousins who were her best friends. She had a special bond with her cousin Linda Simulavich who remained Deb's confidant and friend throughout her lifetime. Faith played an important role in Deb's life and the family would like to thank Fr. Madden of St. John's Parish for the compassion and spiritual guidance he provided to Deb over the years.

She is survived by her two sisters, Patricia Tocman and her husband Leonard, and Tina Ladrie and her husband Michael , all of Shrewsbury; she leaves her Uncle Dan Scola and his wife Theresa of Glastonbury Ct.; and her nieces whom she loved as her own, Allison and Lauren Tocman, Alanna and Maria Ladrie.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at St John's Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester at 10:00am. Interment will follow in St John's Cemetery. For those attending, facial coverings are respectfully required and social distancing measures will be in place.
