Dolores Campbell Obituary

Dolores E. (Muldoon) Campbell, 87, died April 15, 2011, in Life Care Center of Leominster. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, February 7, 1924, daughter of Luke and Lucy (Mitchell) Muldoon. She lived most of her life on Long Island, NY, where she was a member of the Long Island Republican Club. She also had lived in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dolores had been a resident of Leominster Crossing for the past two years.

She is survived by one son, William Campbell of Leominster, MA and one daughter, Maureen McGuirk and her husband James F. Jr., of Lancaster, MA. She was a Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew J. Campbell, who died March 3, 2010.

The Funeral will be held from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 33 Chapel St., Shirley, MA. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 3:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and also Wed. morning from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home. I had the pleasure of doing Dolores' nails every week while she lived at Leominster Crossings. I always loved seeing which bright color Dolores would choose every week. She really enjoyed having her nails done!
