Doris Leasot Obituary

Doris E. (Bourbeau) Leasot, 91, formerly of 61 Conestoga Trail, Brookfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 12 at The Meadows of Leicester.

Her husband of 66 years, Chester A. Leasot, died February 9. She leaves her son Frederick F. "Rick" Leasot and his wife Carole of Charlton, her beloved grandson Bryan M. Leasot of Charlton, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Leasot was a T.V. hostess at the former Doctor's Hospital in Worcester for 10 years, retiring in 1978. She graduated from Worcester Girl's Trade School. She was a member of the Degree of Pocahontas in Mansfield, American Legion Post 138 Women's Auxillary in Spencer, former President and member of the Brookfield Senior Citizen's Club and sang in its' chorus. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton and former member of St. Mary's Church in Brookfield.

The family wishes to thank the staff of West Wing 1 at The Meadows for the compassionate care they gave Doris during her stay at the facility.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H.Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Tx., 75265-0309.
