Brewster - BREWSTER - Dorothy G. Forsberg our wonderful Mom and Grandmother, 96, passed away peacefully holding her daughters hand on September 20th 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Harold Forsberg.

She is survived by her two children Sharon Decarolis of Worcester and Steven Forsberg residing in Singapore. In Addition she leaves her grandchildren Nina, Sara, Natalia all living in Norway, Stephanie studying in Montreal and Julia living in Singapore.

Mom graduated from Becker Junior College and received her secretarial degree. Dorothy was originally from Worcester and settled in Brewster in 1981.

She worked for the American Heart Association as an administrator in Worcester for many years in addition to being a homemaker. During her later years Mom was an avid traveler along with her soulmate Star and daughter Sharon. Mom looked most forward to the summers when as many family members as possible would re-unite on the Cape and build so many wonderful memories that we will all will cherish forever.

Mom's favorite hobbies included membership in the Red Hat Society, Line Dancing, reading and solving crossword puzzles, the latter 2 keeping her busy everyday the last 5 years. She also loved hitting the beach, going out to eat and was an avid shopper. Mom was fond of animals and over the years has had at least 10 dogs with Nick surviving her and a couple of birds. Mom was fond of life, a true warrior and never wanted to give up and miss her family. She had a long good life and kept a smile on her face to the end. We all will miss her tremendously but will relish in the good times spent together and our wonderful memories! Our next summer reunion we will celebrate her life in lieu of a service. We love you Mom/Fami!!
