Edith Rudziak Obituary
She leaves her four children: Gregory Rudziak of Palmerton, PA, Jeffrey Rudziak of Sandwich, Christina (Rudziak) Babineau of Fitchburg, and Mark Rudziak of Westminster. She is predeceased by a son, Erik Rudziak, who was killed in Vietnam in 1969. Her husband, Col. Nicholas D. Rudziak, died in 1981. Edith traveled the world extensively in the course of Nick's military duties. Everyone who met Edith commented on her wit, intelligence and charm. Her family will remember her that way also.
Per Edith's wishes, she will be cremated and her remains will be spread in locations dearest to her heart. Also per her request, there will be no Funeral or remembrance services.
Edith was a prolific reader and her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor be made to your favorite book or literacy-related charity.

Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful, fun intelligent lady and i will always remember her. Although my own Mom passed many years ago, i still can hear her say:" I saw Mrs. Rudziak in the store today. She always has an interesting story to tell".

I will greatly miss my Aunt Edith - she was the last of my aunts and uncles, and the last tie to growing up in the Friberg family in Westminster. I am so lucky to have spent time with her last May, and I will miss her correspondence and news of the family. Cousins Greg, Jeff, Christina, and Mark - my sympathies are with all of you and your families.

I will always remember Edith as the "lady in blue" for she always wore blue. This was her favorite color. She was a kind, warm hearted spirit and will be missed dearly.
