Gerald Fortin Obituary
Worcester - Gerald "Gerry" B. Fortin, 66, formerly of Millbury died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 after a brief illness.
Gerry leaves a sister, Marilyn Fortin of Denver, CO; a brother, Paul Fortin and his wife, Janice of Millbury; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Sylvio R. and Rita A. (Ford) Fortin and a brother, Robert Fortin.
Gerry graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1965. He worked as a machinist and later as a bartender at the St. Charles Hotel in Millbury and the Boynton Restaurant in Worcester before retiring in 2008. Gerry played high school football and ice hockey in his youth. He remained an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorite teams on television.
There are no calling hours. A private graveside service will held in Central Cemetery in Millbury at the convenience of the family. Mulhane Home for Funerals is assisting the family with the arrangements.

TO Gerry's family ...Our Friendship with Gerry was special..He was such a funny person whose laughter could fill a room!! Our friendship began in grade school and continued for over four decades..He will be missed by all that knew him.
I am reminded of an old saying"Make new friends but keep the old..One is Silver and the other is Gold"
