Heather Jean Gove, 30

Whitinsville - Our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Heather Jean Gove left this world unexpectedly, at age 30 on August 30, 2021. She ultimately succumbed from an aggressive staph infection. Born in Boston on April 19, 1991 to Ronald and Jean (Kelly) Gove. Heather grew up in the town of Northbridge, MA, where she attended Our Lady of the Valley Elementary School in Uxbridge and later attended and graduated in 2010 from Northbridge High School, Northbridge. Heather took early education courses at Mount Ida College and completed her Hair/Barber Licensing at Empire Beauty School in Framingham, MA class of 2013. Heather was an award winning elementary, high school and college cheerleader. She also played soccer, softball and field hockey in her high school years. Heather may have been small in stature but not in personality. At birth her parents had a name all picked out, but once her father saw his beautiful baby girl's blue eyes, he knew she now was going to be called Heather. Heather's heart is what guided her through life. Her smile and laughter were infectious. She loved spending time walking her dog, "Bella" and playing with her cat, "Chee Chee." Her love for the young and old showed her caring spirit and her love of animals was like no other. When you think of Heather, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Besides her parents, Ronald from Pelham, NH and Jean of Whitinsville, she is survived by her brothers, Jason Gove and his wife Katie of Attleboro and Ryan Gove of Whitinsville; her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mildred Morgan of Holliston; maternal grandfather, John Scott of Crystal River, FL. She is also survived by her uncle Billy Prouty and his wife Erin, Uncle Glen Gove, Uncle Jamie Scott, and many cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Jaqueline Scott and Uncle Scott Gove. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10 AM at Plymouth Church, 87 Edgell Rd., Framingham Centre. Burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery, Framingham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St, Framingham. If desired, flowers are accepted or you may make a donation may be made in her memory to Baypath Humane Society, Hopkinton, www.baypathhumane.org To leave a message of condolence or sign the online guestbook, please visit www.nortonfuneralhome.com.
