Howard W. Klein, 76,

Schoharie, NY - Howard W. Klein, 76, of Sunnyside Road, Schoharie, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home following a brief illness.

Howard was born on September 2, 1939 in Worcester, MA to the late Goldie (Feldman) and Edwin Klein.

Howard worked in the maintenance and security departments at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester, MA before retiring.

Howard was of Jewish faith and a member of Temple Emanuel Sinai in Worcester, MA. He also attended the Valley Bible Baptist Church in Cobleskill with his wife Bonnie and loved his extended church family.

He was an avid photographer who loved taking pictures and collecting antique cameras. Howard also enjoyed collecting belt buckles, watches, pens, fishing and eating ice cream.

He was predeceased by his sister: Adele Hirsch in 2014.

Howard is survived by his wife: Bonnie (Schrom) Klein of Schoharie, whom he married on April 4, 1998 and daughters: Laurie Kousi of Worcester, MA, Gwenn (William) Albrecht of Central Bridge; sons: Ralph (Cindy) Wood, Jr. of Schoharie, Kevin Wood of Middleburgh; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; niece: Cynthia Hirsch of Madison, WI; nephew: Robert Hirsch of Natick, MA and several great-nephews.

A funeral service was held at on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Valley Bible Baptist Church, 725 Mineral Springs Rd., Cobleskill, NY. Burial was in the Middleburgh Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are asked to be sent to the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill.
