Isabel Allen Obituary
Born May 15, 1921 in Worcester MA, Isabel lived in Grafton MA, Philadelphia and New York City before marrying Walter I. Allen and settling in Orange County, CA.
Isabel began her working career at The Worcester Art Museum and coauthored Contemporary New England Handicrafts, representing an exhibition she helped to assemble in 1943. She was a talented painter and enjoyed painting scenes from her travels around the country.
She is survived by her 3 children, Christopher A. Allen, Peter F. Allen, and Angela M. Shaw, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Isabel was preceded in death by Walter, her husband of 49 years.
Always with a smile, she is remembered and loved by all.
