James Beech Obituary

James H. Beech, 80
CENTERVILLE - James H. Beech, 80, of Centerville, joined the Lord on July 31st 2012 after a lengthy illness. Born in Worcester, son of the late Cyril and Grace (Harding) Beech. He leaves his devoted wife of 59 years, Margaret Ann (O'Leary) Beech.
James was a graduate of North High School and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He spent his entire career with N.E. Telephone. He was an avid golfer, painter and shellfisherman, but his true love was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren,and friends.
Along with his wife Peggy, he is survived by 5 loving children: James Jr. (Susan) of Kingwood, TX; Kathleen Metrick (Dennis) of Mt. Laurel, NJ; David (Brenda) of Arvonia, VA; Michael (Kathleen) of Richmond, VA; and Diane Yahoodik (Paul) of Lynnfield; ten grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, Andrew, Daniel, Erin, Michael, Kaitlyn, Patrick, Paul, and Bridget; two brothers: Robert of Boston and David of Holden; and a sister, Marcia Barrington of Destin, FL.
Visitation will be held in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 South Main St., Centerville on Saturday, August 4th from 10-10:45 a.m, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:45 a.m. A private family burial will be in the MA National Cemetery of Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's name may be sent to: Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675 woundedwarriorproject.org.
