We were so saddened to hear of your dads' passing. We considered Jim a friend;always patient and willing to talk.Praying for peace as you recall the wonderful memories you shared. He took every opportunity to talk lovingly of his kids and grandkids.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father, brother, grandfather and uncle. The last time I saw Jim was at a birthday party at Deb's house and he was sitting in the kitchen watching the world spin past him. If you have ever been to Deb's house during a party then you know that there is quite a lot going on! Whenever someone would walk past him, he would always have a comment or two. But when his grandchildren were near him, he just beamed with pride and love. When they would walk away, he would just sit there with this kind of grin on his face that you really had to look for, he tried to hid it. It was a look of love that only grandparents have for their grand kids. And Jim had one for his. He was proud of his family. Please know that he loved all of you.

I am so glad that the end was so peaceful, but my dad left too soon and too sudden for me. My sadness is lessened knowing that he will have no pain where he is now.
