Jason Cripps Obituary
Worcester - Jason A. Cripps, loving and beloved husband, father and brother passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017, after a heart complication. He was 45 years young and was surrounded at the end by his loving family and close friends.
Jason was born on March 20, 1972 in Worcester, Massachusetts and is survived by his wife of 12 years, Stephanie (Rauktis) Cripps; three daughters, Samantha Murphy-Cripps, Elizabeth Murphy-Cripps, and Ashlyn Cripps all of Worcester; a sister, Kelly Cripps; a brother, Josh Rochette both of Worcester; two nephews, Aaron Blash of Paxton and Andrew Cripps of Worcester and a close Uncle, David Nadreau of Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his mother Joanne (Nadreau) Cripps-Rochette of Worcester.
Jason graduated from North High School and has been a bartender for the Diamond Inn for over twenty years. He enjoyed playing softball every Sunday with the guys, he loved to cook, was an enthusiastic fan of football and was an avid Colts fan. He was happiest when cooking for his family and friends.
You are invited to attend his calling hours at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, from 4-7pm Monday, October 23, 2017. His funeral will be held the following day in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow to Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children's account, Cripps Children Fund, at Webster Five Cents Savings Bank.

I remRemember the go carts in the times up on Wall Street in my auntie Rita we used to go to Her house she lives right next to you and I remember the good times and I'm so thankful for that I really am I'm thankful for the memories now you're with Wheatie Have a seven and seven on me so many people are dying in that we were friends it's so sad so sad well now you're resting with the Angels and my brother Derek so where is the increase my big man rest in peace I'll miss you

Jay you were one of my first friends and I will never forget the fun we had up on Wall St. way back when you could actually leave your doors unlocked on Wall St. It sounds like I'm crazy to say there was an actual time when we could leave our doors to our homes unlocked but there was a time and you were my neighbor. I remember that the whole neiborhood built carts to race down Wall St. also the winters when we would get a lot of snow like the blizzard of 78. No that was a great winter for us kids and I remember jumping off the third floor of your house into a pile of snow down below. You were always a true friend and I only regret not catching back up with you while in high school. But I went to Doherty High and you were at North High. I was glad that we could at least catch up on Facebook but that will never compare to a person to person friendship like when we were kids. As a kid I remember they were replacing the sidewalks on Wall St. and the workers actually bought us some treats just for pretending we watched the sidewalk and the work they had done so far. We New we never watched the sidewalk because the next day there were tire imprints in the curb but the workers still held their part of the deal. Jason my very old friend I will miss you dearly and always cherish the time we had as kids and the fun we had. May your pitcher of beer always be full and your coals always at the rite temperature. Rest In Peace my old friend because in my eyes you were hated by none and loved by all who came into your life. My deepest condolences to your family and to all your other friends. God Bless!!!!!
