Funeral & Calling Hours
All are invited to calling hours at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton Sunday June 14th from 2 to 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday June 15th at 10:30 a.m in St. James Roman Catholic Church, 89 Main St. in South Grafton. He will then be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery. All attending Monday are respectfully requested to meet at St. James Church rather than the funeral home. A guest & condolence book may be signed and directions are available at: www.

hi-my sincere condolences to you all-i just met jeff anne and stella at chicos with joy-and what a wonderful family-i just heard jeff play the sax and it brought back many super memories of listening to dixieland jazz in ny and at home with my husband jacques(now deceased)-a great lover of the soprano sax and sidney bechet.jeff played a beautiful sax and maybe they have met in heaven and are both enjoying jeffs music.i know they would have appreciated each others jazz experiences!sincerely-susan lambrechts

I knew Jeff through music, and through his wonderful brother and sister-in-law, Rick & Janet. What beautiful people! Such spirit! Such wisdom in knowing it's the little things in life that really matter. Music is an incredible gift; I am so thankful that I have shared just a bit of time playing music with Jeff. My heart goes out to all of you who were close with him. Please know he and you in our thoughts are prayers.

Dear Baskowski/Dauphinais Families,
I am so sorry for you having to endure the loss of such a lovely man, who had such an important role in your family. I only knew Jeff through his dedicated work, as well as through a few quick conversations about how wonderful Mary and Joe were. His gentle spirit and compassion were so very evident, even in these simple exchanges. I know that your close family ties will help you weather this storm. Think of Jeff when you see butterflies--like him, they are so very beautiful and live too short a span.

My heartfelt sympathy to you all. Jeff was one of my first elementary school friend's, and I have many fond memories of times we shared over the years. It was always great to see Jeff, and catch up on life. The Baskowski's and O'Bara's had many pleasant connections.

Dear Baskowski family,
I was saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. Jeff was such a caring, funny, and fun-loving person. My memories of him go back to 6th grade dancing lessons with Mrs. LeBlanc at the Town Hall and we'd all run to the pharmacy for sodas afterwards. I am so lucky to have caught up with Jeff at our 25th High School Reunion. I am so sorry and send warm thoughts.

Dear Baskowski's,
Your pain and grief is something that no one can understand. We learn to apprecite the happy memories to help us through. I have many happy memories of growing up in Grafton with many of you and being in Lenny Peterson's jazz band too. I am happy that I had a chance to re-connect with some of you last year at the Goulet post. I saw Jeff, Steve and Joe and even your father! The band sounded great.

To Jeff's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Jeff was a great man and always willing to help either by listening or giving us ideas. He was truly a phenominal psych nurse and made a huge difference in many lives including my own. It's strange when the only memories you have of a person are from high school, but I can't imagine Jeff changed appreciably since then - always smiling, laughing, bordering on silly! Gentle and so very, very kind. I remember being envious of the Baskowski family - the amazing love you had for one another is a memory that has stayed with me for 40 years. I know that you will get strength from one another as you mourn his passing and celebrate his life. My love and prayers are with you.

To the Baskowski Family....
I was deeply saddened when I heard the news this morning. What a wonderful man, a beautiful father, and a talented musician.
Kristen grew up best friends with my sister Andrea. I still remember meeting her for the first time when she was no more than 11 or 12 yrs old. Since then I and my family have gotten to know the Baskowski family and love them as if they are our own.
Jeff was a very special human being and it hurts deeply to know that he has passed. I can only hope that all of your pain will be eased with time.
You are all in our heart's and prayer's on this day,and many more to come. We love you guys,

Oh Steve, I am so sorry. I have so many happy memories of Jeff...hanging out on the breezeway, playing spit, walks in the cemetery.....I could go on. This is just too sad. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Jeff's Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. Jeff and I went through high school together; both our last names began with B so we sat near each other in homeroom. I will always remember his smile and gentle way. Every once in a while we would run into each other in town.. at the post office, drug store or super market; always glad to see each other and greet with a hug. Not only have family and friends suffered a great loss, but the world of music is missing a piece of its heart as well. You are in my heart and in my thoughts.
