Jeffrey Tagman Obituary

Jeffrey M. "Jeff" Tagman, 38, of Shrewsbury, died unexpectedly Friday, November 5, 2010 in California.

He leaves his mother, Jerilyn C. (Stowe) Tagman of Shrewsbury; his father, Charles Tagman of Orlando, Florida; two brothers: Joseph P. Tagman of Worcester and Keith C. Tagman and his wife, Suzanne of Orlando, Florida; a niece, Sierra and two nephews: Brogan and Jackson all of Florida; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Quincy. He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Jeff was born in Worcester and raised in Shrewsbury. He graduated from Saint John's High School in 1991 where he was a very talented hockey player. He later attended both Bryant College and Arizona State University.

Jeff had been working in the computer industry and served as Vice President of Boston Networks, an internet service provider. He was the Manager at Junior's Pizza Grille in Worcester and also had been finance manager for Leominster Lincoln Mercury.

He loved all kinds of sports, especially NFL football, the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. Jeff had a passion for physical fitness and was studying to become a personal trainer. He also enjoyed cars and movies in his spare time, and had a great affection for dogs and was devoted to his little buddy and best friend, Quincy.

Jeff had a magnetic personality; there was not a person that he came into contact with that did not become an instant friend. He was a loving guy with a big heart and an infectious smile to match. Jeff loved being surrounded by many different types of people and with that, he influenced countless members of the younger generation when he worked with them.

Jeff will be remembered by his entire family and his many friends as a gentle soul, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeff's family on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 4:00PM- 8:00 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. His funeral will be on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from the funeral home with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, MA. For directions and to view Jeffrey's memorial guestbook, please visit,

Those "eyes", that "smile", that "laugh", that 'heart" that was Jeff Tagman! If you had a bad day, had a bad week or in general were down, jeff made sure you laughed, made sure you thought of the positive and gave you something to laugh, and or smile about.

While he was doing that for other's he may have neglected himself. He is resting now. He will become the best "Angel" and now he can unconditionally take care of his beautiful mother, Jeri, his wonderful brothers, niece and nephews, his father Charlie who he sought respect from always. He was proud of his family and of his friends. He loved his best friend Dave forever, no matter what. He is in peace now and there is something to be said for that.

He had a heart full of love and will be with his family forever!
