Joan MacLean, 77

WESTBOROUGH - Joan (Imbeault) MacLean, 77, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2021 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home. Born in Beverly, MA she was the daughter of the late Marion (Preston) Imbeault. She was raised and educated in Manchester-by-the –Sea. Joan graduated from Manchester High School and the Lynn Burdett College. She went on to be the secretary to the Superintendent of schools in Manchester. She was the wife of the late Douglas T. MacLean.

Joan lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved to golf, garden, and complete crosswords. Joan loved retuning to Singing Beach where she would go for long walks. She especially loved watching her grandchildren play in all their sporting events.

She was the mother of two daughters, Courtney Murphy of Duxbury, MA and Kimberly White and her husband Richard of Worcester, MA. She was "Mana" to six grandchildren: Tierney and Brunner Murphy, Rory, Ainsley, Gavin and Ava White. She is predeceased by her sister Marcia McCoy.

Services and interment in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private. Arrangements by Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 W. Main St., Westborough.
