JoAnn (Ferigno) Bottcher, 82

Holden, Ma - JoAnn (Ferigno) Bottcher, 82, unexpectedly passed away following an illness on February 22, 2018 near her home in Melbourne Fl. Funeral Services were held at Beach Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL, on March 1st, 2018.

JoAnn leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Carl G. Bottcher of Worcester, MA.

While never having children of her own, she was an angel to all her nieces and nephews and leaves loving friends of all ages in many parts of the world.

JoAnn was born in Westborough, MA, on April 30, 1935. She was a graduate of Salem Teachers College and taught grammar school in Westborough for five years.

She was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church and there she married the love of her life, Carl G. Bottcher.

In 1965 they bought a home and settled in Holden, MA, where Carl ran a successful painting business and for many years JoAnn worked at Sharfmans Jewlers in Worcester.

Together Carl and JoAnn built a legacy of helping young people further their education and devoted themselves to people with special needs.

Later in life they settled in Melbourne, Fl, and while JoAnn suffered some physical set backs, they continued making lives better.

By giving thousands of kids access to the (BSO) Brevard Symphony Orchestra, they enriched lives through classical music; and continued making it possible for young people to attend several colleges.
